Kahlil Ashanti is an actor and businessman with a long list of accomplishments. He is most well known (and respected) for his critically acclaimed one-man show called Basic Training which has toured the world successfully since 2004. He has been named New York Times Critic’s Pick, won an Edinburgh Fringe First Award and has sold out theatres from Dubai to Scotland to Melbourne. Prior to Basic Training, he got his start touring the world several times as part of the elite military entertainment troupe Tops in Blue while serving in uniform in the US Air Force. He’s got credits in film, television and theatre, he’s tour managed artists in all different genres all over the globe, he’s consulted on performance skills for various artists, and hell, he even had his own one man show at Caesar’s Palace in Vegas.
