Open Thread: Community Feedback Edition

This week Beams is going to take a break from posting new articles or essays (new Bits & Pieces will continue daily as normal).

As we take stock at Beams & Struts over our first year in existence, we invite feedback from our readers.

Please use the comments to this article to post questions, affirmations, good natured teasing, things you’d like to see, ways to improve the site, slightly off-color jokes (bonus points for relevant limericks or sick raps).

Kidding aside, whether you are a relative newcomer to the site or longtime loyal fan, we are really interested to hear your perspectives.

--What brings you to Beams & Struts?

--What are some topics you would like to see discussed on the site?

At Beams & Struts we are always looking to build a deeper, richer experience. As we are taking time this summer to reflect on where we’ve come over this past year, we are spending time thinking about where we would like to go. We are looking for ways to better the site, deepen our inquiry, practice more intentionally the art of dialog, and so on.

We deeply appreciate your feedback. In the short span of a year the site has taken off more than any of us ever imagined it would. Our deepest thanks to our community of readers, commenters, and contributors.

...

PS  With no new articles or essays this week, we encourage folks to spend some time commenting on pieces. Take a tour through the archives and check out some of what we’ve written over the past year.
