Sacred Sundays

We’re trying a little something new here at Beams. I have the honour of being your Sunday girl and together, we’re going to engage in Sacred Sundays…right here in the Bricolage. Every Sunday you will find a short post honouring the Sacred. What does that mean? Well… let’s find out.

I intend to draw on a variety of spiritual lineages, offering readings and scripture and poetry and whatever feels like it wants to come forward on behalf of the sacred. Perhaps I’ll just post a bunch of pictures of the kick-ass garden that many of us here at beams have built in my back yard, because that’s some sacred food we’re growing. We’re looking to connect with the sacred in the ordinary and the sacred in the extraordinary.

So please stop by and join us on Sundays where we can touch in with each other and touch in with ourselves, pause, feel, reflect and carry on with a bit more divine juice running through our veins.

So…to start us off today, I’d like to offer that we sit for a moment and feel our hearts, beating, opening, loving. Right now, you and me baby….two minutes…eyes closed…feel that heart…go…

I just did. Did you? Don’t sell out; the world needs that blood red beating heart of yours. Feel it.
