Breaking news: the crack(ed) team of Beams investigatory journalists have done it again. No secret goes undetected beneath our sleuthy noses - Carl Sagan and Adi Da were separated at birth!
It all makes sense now...
One was an Astronomer, the other an Avatar.
One travelled the stars, the other astral traveled.
However you slice it both were non-dual wizards of our time:
Carl Sagan - We are a way for the universe to know itself.
Adi Da - The Truth that is to be Realized may be summarized simply as the Realization that no matter what is arising, no matter how many others are present, there is only One Being.
Perhaps their profound notions of non-duality were an effect of the bond between them. Together they plunged the depths of humanity's Great Questions; one looking to the deep space beyond us, the other, the deep space within. They're two-sides of a coin really, yin and yang, materialist and mahatma, scientist and sage - great explorers of consciousness and cosmos!
I mean, seriously, between the two of them they sure covered the territory didn't they?
