A Celebration of Spiritual Masters

Written by

Over the past two weeks I've been posting daily about spiritual and cultural luminaries from the 20th Century andworlds_religions today. These men and women are truly extraordinary and researching their lives has been inspirational to say the least. The project is in preparation for an upcoming event called "Awakening to Your Highest Self: Tales of Transformation from 25 Spritual Luminaries".

The event is going to be off the hook! It's basically a huge online celebration of spiritual masters. It'll be a 10-hour broadcast and EnlightenNext founder Andrew Cohen will be interviewing (over) 25 remarkable individuals. The interviews will reflect the power and beauty of the teacher-student relationship, spanning across many disciplines of thought to catalyze cultural change and new ways of thinking.

I'm posting this from the EnlightenNext main centre in Lenox, Mass. and the place is buzzing. Many of the interviews have to be prerecorded and as people come out of the sound booth, after the recordings, they've been joking around saying that anybody who listens to these conversations is going to have a full-blown samadhi after three speakers. Maybe that's not surprising, this event is like of all the greatest lineages of the past 100 years gathering together in one place.

I've put a list of speakers and teachers below, with a link to each post. The posts have a short history of the individuals involved, usually a few cool quotes, and always a few videos. I'd like to say I have a favourite, but really they're all good. Just pick one and enjoy the show. These people were often pioneers and put everything on the line to make the world a better place. You can't ask for much more than that.

The event itself will be on March 25, and it's free. Check it out if you can.
